There’s no need to question the meaning, it’s rhetorical…but for those that aren’t familiar with the term “Jack” or “Jacking”, here are 2 definitions by the legendary Chip E.
- Jack (or to Jack) means to do your best. As in “He’s jacking the decks” or “she’s jacking the dance floor”.
- Jacking means (as Chip said in the 1986 Spin magazine article) “Doing standing up on the dance floor, what you would rather be doing laying down on a bed”.
